(Procurement Cum Processing Manager)

Organization Profile:

Vandhan Shakti Mahila Producer Company is a Farmer Producer Company Promoted by Gramshree Foundation Trust. This company work with tribal women of 5 Blocks of Udaipur and Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. Currently 1,500 plus women are the part of this organization.

This company currently works on processing and marketing of following products:

1. Frozen Custard Apple Pulp

2. Frozen Jamun Pulp and Slices

3. Dry Amla

4. Amla Candy

5. Tamarind

Company has received support from IFAD to scale up its business for which current opening is released.

Designation: Procurement Cum Processing Manager

Location: Jaswanthgarh, Udaipur Rajasthan

Role Expected:

1. Responsible for procurement of Fruit (Custard apple, Jamun, Amla and other non-timber forest producer from the villages through members of Producer Company.

2. Sourcing above mentioned fruits and other fruits from other vendors in the area.

3. Building Relationship with different stakeholders like forest department, other Farmer Producer Companies, NGOs, Cluster Level Federation of State Rural Livelihood Mission for sourcing of raw material for processing of different product taken up by the VANDHAN.

4. Target of collection of 150,000 kg custard apple, 50,000 kg Jamun, 30,000 Kg Jamun, 25,000 kg Amchur and other products.

5. Responsible for establishment of mini-processing unit.

6. Handling the processing at processing unit to get the good quality product.

7. Ensuring the procurement of machinery as per the requirement and time to time.

8. Handling other responsibility as per company requirement and under guidance of senior staff

Qualification and Essential Terms:

1. Graduate with minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and processing of fruit and other products or Post Graduate in Agriculture, Food Technology and other from reputed Institute at National Level minimum of 1 years of experience of working in Development sector, value chain and food processing.

2. Individual should have its own two wheelers for movement in the field (Mandatory)

3. Individual should have its own laptop for official working

Offer:

Remuneration: Rs 22,500/ per month

(One-year appointment have clause that one-month salary is deducted in 4 installments and kept as security. This amount is paid back after completion of one-year period in the organization. If the candidate leaves before one year, security amount deducted is forfeited.)

Other support:

• Petrol Cost for two wheelers as per organization norms.

• Travel for company work will be covered as per organization norms.
