The associate will assist with producing quality written educational materials for various training modules and to keep abreast of key developments in child protection and child right developments across the country.
Reporting to the Head of Curriculum, the incumbent will work closely with the Head, Curriculum to create well researched content in subjects of Aangan’s programme areas. The curriculum will feature responsive, interactive participatory training modules.
The job requires a creative individual who can work with minimal supervision.
As an Associate, Curricula, you can expect to be doing the following:
Contribute to the ongoing development of the curricula for programmes across
different geographies and demographics.
? Conducting, compiling and interpreting relevant research to inform the process of
curricula development

? Develop curricula documents, trainer manuals and ensure that content meets
pedagogical objectives
? Identify needs, collect feedback through field visits and improve existing
content/create new content on an ongoing basis
? Collaborate with the internal team to come up with fresh and creative ways of
developing material
? Assist the team lead with demonstrating delivery of the devised training module in TOTs
? Stay abreast of trends and best practices in the sector especially child protection and child rights;
NOTE – The role will also require you to invest about 10-15% of your time in actual delivery of training on ground to different stakeholders, which will require travelling to different work locations of Aangan.
What do you bring:
At least 5 years of experience or more
? with an on-ground experience of programme implementation in the development
sector; (must have)
? has done some extensive trainings with women, adolescent girls and official
stakeholders; (must have)
? has the inclination and skill for curricula development; (must have)
? has worked on the thematics of gender, women and child protection and Adolescent safety etc. (must have)
? has the experience of developing content for different mediums print, audio, video, social media; (Preferred)
? ?Ability to write modules that are clear, concise, direct and appropriate in tone and message for different audiences
? Excellent research, reporting and organizing skills
? Medium to Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication skills level in both English and Hindi;
? Ability to participate in multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines;
? Ability to collaborate and open mindedness to differing points of view
? Working knowledge of MS Office
