Job Description

Position: Team Leader/Project Coordinator

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have Master’s degree in Agroecology/Agriculture/Natural Resource Management or allied disciplines.

Work experience: The candidate should have minimum 5 years’ experience in sustainable agriculture, organic farming and rural livelihoods. He/she should have advanced knowledge in project planning, monitoring and management in NGO sector.

Preferred Skill set:

1. He/she should have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written).

2. He/she should have knowledge and skill with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

3.He/she should have skills in documentation and reporting in English and Oriya

Job responsibilities:

1.Conceptualizing and facilitation of agro-ecological farming, climate resilient cropping systems, promotion and strengthening of seed systems, organic farming & NRM activities.

2.Develop training modules, crop calendars and facilitate trainings on sustainable agriculture, organic farming, natural farming etc..

3. Plan and implement action research and do process documentation

4. Provide technical assistance and support to team members.

5. Develop and maintain project management schedules, project work plans.

6. Prepare periodical progress reports to reflect achievement of project targets, document lessons learnt and record project activities and prepare consolidated reports.

7. Provide inputs and ideas for development of concept notes and proposals when required.

8 Liaison with the government agencies (e.g. Panchayat Raj Institutions, line departments) to facilitate implementation of mandated programs and services in line with program area concerns

9. Coordinate with the M&E expert to assist in data collection for baseline, mid-term, and end term evaluations.

10. Documentation of best practices and collection of case studies.


Salary: Rs 40000 to 50000 + EPF
