About the program
Sahaj Sansthan in partnership with Foundation to Educate Girls Globally, (https://www.educategirls.ngo/pragati/) is implementing the Pragati second chance program in Phalodi district, Rajasthan. Through the program we aim to reach out to 1700 learners ( 14-29 years learner) in 2024-25 and create pathways towards completing 10th Grade and opportunities like further education, employment, and training so that adolescent girls and young women have choices and can reach their full potential.
Pragati Program activities
•Identify and train preraks at the village level to support learners. Preraks act as facilitators not teachers
•Ensure RSOS enrolment of learner and collect enrolment receipt
•Liasion with stakeholders (families, teachers, principal, nodal) for document completion and support of learners
•Regular training and review of preraks
•Provision of learning material, text books and tips for learners
•Prerak to conduct high quality camps for 3 hours each day to build capacity of learners
•Capacity building of learners to gain confidence, communication, problem-solving and do self-study
•Learners to give mock tests to practice for the exam
•Learners to attend all subjects in exam and be sufficiently prepared
•Online reporting of all activities done on field by prerak and coordinator
Key responsibilities in program
•Create a record of all program-related data as shared by field coordinators
•Ensure quality of reports and dosuments submitted by prerak and cordinators
•Analyse data- find and share errors in reporting to be rectified timely
•Train preraks in using the application for the program
•Give the team daily updates on the data status
•In addition you will be responsible for program activities in your cluster of 5 preraks/ camps
•Direct reporting will be to the Program Coordinator with program support from CEO and Chairman of the organisation
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with proficiency in Hindi and English typing
• At least 2-3 years of experience working on excel and other data tools
•Good knowledge and use of computers and other applications (tech-friendly)
•Ability to communicate information in a clear, respectful, and timely manner
•Ability to collect information timely from team members and collate systematically
•Have self-initiative and the ability to plan and execute their work independently
•Willingness to learn and generate new ideas
•Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to identify challenges or issues and provide appropriate support
•Integrity in work and enjoy working with large data sets
