Chetna Vikas is a voluntary organization working since last two decades in the six districts of Santhal division of Jharkhand state for poor and marginalized Family for the integrated rural development.

About the Project

Chetna Vikas is going to implement a project in the domain of Health that aims to achieve the SDG 3 “Good Health and Well Being” and SDG 17 “Partnership for Goals” for treatment of various ailments and attainment of complete wellbeing. The Project is being implemented with the support of SBI Foundation as their interventions in Healthcare under Jivanam-Sanjeevani. The Project targeted towards providing quality primary healthcare services to the underserved/unserved/ remote areas of Jharkhand. The Project is designed to build the resilience of vulnerable communities through the development of innovative models to increase the accessibility to healthcare resources as well as facilitate their treatments in various forms of illness through Mobile Medical Van Unit.

We are looking for candidate for the following position:

Job Title: Program Coordinator

Location: Block: Ormanjhi, District: Ranchi, State: Jharkhand

Qualifications:

• The positions require highly motivated individuals with a post graduate degree/diploma in public health (MPH or MHA or MHS or MBA in public health) / social sciences

• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in coordination experience in the supervising public health programmes.

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi & English.

• Gender sensitive and strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups.

• Should have good documentation skills and be proficient in basic computer applications like Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Willingness to undertake travel as per the project requirements

Responsibilities:

• The program coordinator would be the key person at the district level responsible for the initiation, implementation & overall management of the program.

• He/she will responsible for preparation of work plans/travel plan of the medical van

• He/she will responsible for maintain records for each activity and Patient and monitor overall program progress and submit formal reports

• He/she will oversee and ensure timely and qualitative and quantitative documentation of this entire phase of project implementation –prepare monthly reports, training reports, quarterly reports and final reports.

• Supervise and Responsible for successful implementation of all project interventions.

• Organize awareness programs at the community level
