JOB DESCRIPTION - ART TEACHER

He will be reporting to Founder at the office (overall functioning-workshops, art developments, etc.) and report to Ms Sushma – Headmistress and also co-ordinate with Program program of Sukallp

• Planning lessons on art and art history in accordance with students' learning objectives.

• Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.

• Developing students' drawing, colouring, and painting techniques.

• Providing instruction on the use of media such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolour paint.

• Teaching students about art history.

• Assigning and grading projects and examinations.

• Recording and reporting on students' progress.

• Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson.

• Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.

• Attending faculty and parent-teacher meetings.

• Ability to provide new and exciting art programs for all ages and abilities.

• Must be respectful to all concerns of patrons.

• Ability to work with individuals of all ages and different interests

• Be very knowledgeable about safety procedures in case of an emergency.

• Ability to organize class roster and arrive prompt for all classes.

• Make sure the work area is cleaned and organized before, during, and after class is completed.

• Provide a full list of inventory to the school administrator at the beginning and end of the class session.

• Ability to keep attendance and have an up to date class roster at all times.

• Provide a variety of arts/craft classes for children through young adult and manage a schedule and submit to school administrator

• Organising events like Rangoli / Kite Flying etc. at prominent places as and when required

• Any other work is given by the Management from time to time.
