Role and Responsibilities:
1. Provide Psychosocial Support:
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address various psychological, emotional, and social issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Maintain confidential and accurate records of counseling sessions and progress.
2. Capacity Building Program:
• The implementation of capacity building Training programs for sanitation workers.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training modules that cover technical skills, hygiene practices, health and safety protocols, and soft skills.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for sanitation workers across the state.
• Provide training and support to community members to build their capacity to participate in and sustain community initiatives.
3. Community Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, focus groups, and forums to gather input and encourage participation in activities.
• Program Implementation:
• Coordinate and implement community-based programs and initiatives aimed at improving overall community health and well-being.
• Mobilize community members to participate in and support various projects and events.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Foster strong relationships with government authorities, Municipalities, local communities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to garner support and collaboration.
• Represent the Harpic World Toilet College program at different meetings, conferences, and events related to sanitation and livelihood improvement.
• Ensure Participation in different events to promote the activities in the state and celebration of significant days related to hygiene and sanitation.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology Development Studies, Public Health, Business Administration(BBA/MBA) or a related field.
• Minimum 2 Year experience in program management, preferably in the field of sanitation, livelihood, or behavior change in Govt. or NGO sector.
• Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene issues, especially those related to sanitation workers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build effective partnerships.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting training and capacity building activities is highly desirable.
• Sensitivity to the needs and challenges faced by sanitation workers and a passion for improving their livelihoods.
• Fluency in the local language(s) of the state is essential, along with proficiency in English.
• He /She must have owned a motor cycle.
• He/She must be ready to travel to the cities across state for the implementation of the project .
