The National Health Mission has launched a health programme Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) for adolescents, in the age group of 10-19 years, which would target their nutrition, reproductive health and substance abuse, among other gender issues. Under this program SVSS calls application for the position of counselor.

Responsibility

Counselors

Counselors are expected to provide counseling services for adolescent on important health issues in areas such as nutrition, puberty, RTI/STI prevention and contraception and all thematic issues of RKSK programme.

Required Educational Qualification

Candidate have post graduate – MSW / MBA / MA Social Sciences/Psychology Sociology/ psychology/rural development, pass in any discipline with minimum 55% with regular basis degree from government & non government institutions.

Computer Science / Computer Application degree / Diploma/ Certificate courses.

Experience

Candidate have minimum 3 year regular continue work experience with Government or Non government Organization with community level for implementing government project. Preference will be given to Candidates have experience in providing counseling services in Govt. / Non Govt. Health programmes.

Candidate having computer knowledge for Ms office, excel, online software reporting/ data entry work and internet operation knowledge, have work on mobile Aap etc.

Candidate have native from district - Shahdol, of M.P.

No. of positions: 2 (District - Shahdol Madhya Pradesh @ Block level posting)

Remuneration - Rs 15000/- per month Maximum.

The remuneration of the position will be proposed as per NHM - RKSK programme guidelines for Counselors.

Age limit - 21 to 40 Years
