Job Description

Supernan is dedicated to empowering underprivileged women by providing them with comprehensive training for careers in childcare. Our program focuses on equipping these women with essential skills, certification, and the confidence they need to deliver high-quality childcare services.


As a Community Mobilizer at Supernan, you will play a crucial role in recruiting potential nannies by engaging with various communities and local bodies across Bangalore. This position is ideal for someone passionate about community service and skilled in mobilization and outreach activities. Your efforts in recruiting and sensitizing potential nannies will help us meet the childcare needs of families while providing valuable employment opportunities in the community.


Responsibilities:

  • Regularly visit communities, NGOs, Apartments, self-help groups, and local bodies to identify and mobilize potential nannies.
  • Ensure the timely formation of training batches with the appropriate number of participants
  • Identify and collaborate with local partners to support and facilitate the implementation of recruitment activities.
  • Counsel potential candidates and their families to encourage enrollment and continued participation in our training programs.


Salary

INR 25,000 - 35,000 per month, with a fixed component, petrol allowance and a variable component based on recruitment performance.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Willingness to travel extensively across different locations within Bangalore.
  2. Knowledge of the geographical areas of the city.
  3. Proficient in communication in Kannada & Hindi; proficiency in English is also preferred.
  4. 2 Wheeler along with license is a must
  5. Prior mobilisation work is a plus


Desired Candidate Profile

Others - Others

Experience:

  • Proven experience in community mobilization, outreach, or similar roles within NGOs or social service organizations.
  • Experience in working with diverse communities and understanding local cultural dynamics.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or training facilitation is a plus.


Physical and Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel extensively across Bangalore to meet with communities, attend meetings, and organize workshops with own 2 wheeler
  • Comfort with flexible working hours to accommodate community engagements that may occur during evenings or weekends.


Preferred Background:

  • Candidates with a background in non-profit organizations, especially those focused on education, women’s empowerment, or child welfare, will find this role particularly aligned with their experience.
