Job Description

The role of Project Associate involves supporting partner organizations primarily working on Child Rights by maintaining effective communication, monitoring their progress, and providing necessary capacity-building assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain communication with partner organisations on a day-to-day basis, and provide

them any necessary support to strengthen their capacities.

Conduct quarterly monitoring and learning support visits to partner CSOs in different

locations in Assam, and occasionally to other states in the North East.

Prepare field visit reports, project progress reports as per the requirements of the project.

Regular assessment of the work of partner project progress and sharing report on the same

with the Project Lead.

Assessing learning gaps of partner organisations, and develop and implement capacity

enhancement support plans to fill the gaps.

Coordinate internal review and other necessary processes of the partner organisation.

Develop/ Design creative contents on Child Rights.

Apply if you have:

Post-graduation or other equivalent degree, preferably in Social Work/ Social Sciences/

Development Studies.

Working experience of 2+ years in the Development Sector. Preferably experience in

working on children’s issues or with children.

Strong articulation and writing skills in English.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.

Proficiency in analysing data and writing reports.

Ability to work independently and think critically.

Willingness and readiness to travel alone to rural locations across the North East, frequently.

Fair skills in reading and speaking Assamese will be preferred.

Demonstrate the zeal to work on issues concerning social change and committed to make a

difference.

Being ready to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
