Project: Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods through Climate Resilient

Agriculture

Location: Kaptipada block of Mayurbhanj district, Odisha.


Position: Project Coordinator-1


Job Profile:

• Prepare project action plans

• Conduct baseline and progress reports

• Plan and implement development projects

• Promote and develop Community-Based Organisations (CBOs)

• Promote sustainable agricultural practices for paddy, millets, and vegetables

among marginal and small-scale farmers

• Organise training on SRI, SMI, organic manures, and other practices for women

and farmers in remote tribal areas

• Conduct training sessions for staff and CBOs

• Coordinate with government and local NGOs to access schemes and financial

services

• Reporting and documentation

• Conduct timely staff meetings

• Network with Government, NGOs, PRI, and CBOs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainable livelihood promotion through

agriculture

• Commitment to the development sector

• Ability to think and articulate social ideas

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Odia

Ability to coordinate activities across diverse teams and liaise with external stakeholders


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainable livelihood promotion through

agriculture

• Commitment to the development sector

• Ability to think and articulate social ideas

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Odia


Salary: INR 25,000 per month.


Position: Community Organiser-3 Nos


Job Profile:

• Community mobilisation and motivation

• Conduct socio-economic village surveys

• Select poor and marginal farmers

• Conduct household studies and baseline surveys

• Form and strengthen Village Development Committees, Women Self Groups,

and Farmer Producer Groups

• Conduct awareness and training on organic farming

• Facilitate the distribution of seeds, agricultural implements, and other livelihood

support to the poorest communities

• Create community cadres or model farmers at the village level

• Build linkages with Government, PRI, NGOs, and other stakeholders

• Provide support to farmers on sustainable agricultural practices

• Promote SRI, SMI, organic vegetables, and kitchen gardens

• Track household crop planning, production, and income

• Attend village and staff review meetings regularly

• Prepare monthly progress reports, action plans, and success stories with

photographs

• Any other tasks delegated by the Project Coordinator

Requirements:

• Intermediate/Bachelor’s degree

• Background in rural and urban slums

• Commitment to the development sector

• Good motivation and mobilisation skills


Salary: INR 10,000 per month


Position: Accounts Officer-1


Responsibilities:


• Check and verify bills daily as per organisational finance policies and donor

guidelines

• Prepare vouchers and update books of accounts in Tally software

• Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and purchase orders

• Close cash daily with denomination sheets

• Verify and release travel allowances for employees

• Enter grants into the register

• Settle employee advances as per guidelines

• Send money receipts, bank statements, and remittance certificates to donors

• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and stakeholders for financial transactions

• Book staff salaries in line with projects

• Prepare project-wise monthly grant reconciliation statements

• Maintain party-wise register for TDS verification

• Prepare and pay monthly TDS statements

• Prepare Project Finance Utilisation reports

• Update Project MIS

• Coordinate with Project Coordinator and field staff

• Provide logistics support for training, workshops, and staff meetings

• Coordinate internal and external audits


Requirements:

• B.Com graduate with tally software

• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing books of accounts

• Commitment to the development sector

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Odia

• Ability to coordinate activities across diverse teams and liaise with

external stakeholders


Salary-INR 15,000 Per Month
