Job Description

Position Title: Project Officer – 01 (Male/Female)

Project: Mitigation of Child Marriage

Location: Rajsamand, Rajasthan, India

Employment Type: Full-time

About Us:

Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. The organization working on the issues like Child Rights, violence against women, Adolescents, Women Empowerment, Livelihood Generation & Education. Currently, the organization working in 21 districts of Rajasthan.


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the implementation of the Mitigation of Child Marriage project, ensuring all activities align with project goals and objectives.

• Community Engagement: Work closely with community and their leaders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to raise awareness about the harms of child marriage and promote community-led solutions.

• Training & Workshops: Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops for community members, parents, and children on child rights, gender equality, and the importance of education.

• Monitoring & Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of the project and identify areas for improvement.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and challenges for internal use and for submission to donors and partners.

• Advocacy: Advocate for policy changes at the local, district and state levels to support the eradication of child marriage.


Qualifications:

• Education: Master in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 month to 1 years of experience in project management, preferably on child marriage and community development projects.

• Computer Work: MS Office, Internet Communication and Web browsing.


Skills:

o Strong project management and organizational skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Proficiency in Hindi and English.

o Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation techniques.

o Experience in advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

o Good writing and analytical skills along with ability to prepare detailed Reports, Data Analyzation, Power Point presentations and Case Studies.

It facilitates and support RMM socially, politically and financially to bring about the changes in the perceptions of women, men and society to the traditional role of women.
