Education qualification Required: B. Tech in Civil Engineering and Masters in Geology or Applied Geology

Desire experience: Minimum 4 years of working experience preferably in Indian Himalayan Mountain

Knowledge of local languages like (khasi/ garo)b along with English and Hindi are desired

Job responsibility:

1. Identification of critical springs

2. Collection of data and information on physiology, geo-location, geology, land use, water quality etc.

3. Delineation of possible spring recharge area of selected spring/cluster of spring

4. Design of interventions, both vegetative and engineering measures for natural/artificial recharge of the aquifer zone contributing to the sub-surface flows to the spring

5. Preparation of treatment plan (Details Technical Report) of the identified Springshed areas

6. Capacity Building of MegLIFE Staff on springshed

7. Effective handholding of the field staff of MegLIFE for implementation of treatment plan prepared for Springsheds

8. Vetting of treatment plans specified by the Meghalaya Basin Development Authority

9. Providing inputs and aligning to field mobilization plan for effective delivery of the objectives of the MLSC

10. Timely submission of engagement reports and communication with concern departments

11. Help PRASARI Core team as per need
