Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic resource person with a passion for water management and sustainability. You have 3-4 years of experience in technical supervision in water and watershed areas, with a strong foundation in civil engineering. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and one more local language is preferred, along with expertise in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Design and cost estimation of various soil and moisture conservation initiatives, such as micro-harvesting structures including percolation pits, bunds, trenches, and revetments, as well as sizing and creation of ponds and lining.

• Oversee the progress of the creation of such structures, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Measure structures, maintain Measurement Books, and handle billing tasks efficiently.

• Compile documentation and prepare project reports, including Daily/Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs).

• Collaborate closely with client representatives on projected works, timelines, and outcomes.

• Contribute to capacity-building efforts for contractors and workers involved in the projects.

• Assist project staff in implementing various project activities at different levels.

• Organize Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to gain insights into project-related challenges and develop effective solutions.

• Ensure quality of construction work during project execution through various technical tests.

• Strengthen systems for design and execution, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering or related field.

• 3-4 years of experience in technical supervision and management in water and watershed areas.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide effective guidance to field executives.

• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and one more local language.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Web and tech-savvy, requiring minimal training.

• Eagerness to take on substantial and challenging roles to further enhance career growth.
