IN-DEED Foundation (www.indeedfoundation.org), is a Trust engaged in elevating learning standards in government schools through innovative pedagogical approaches, volunteer engagement and cutting edge technologies.

IN-DEED is a REI (Rajasthan Education Initiative) partner working with Rajasthan Council of School Education impacting 10,000+ students each year through programs and interventions in government schools across several districts of Rajasthan. Academic and Digital Empowerment interventions in schools focus on improving understanding of curriculum subjects impacting learning outcomes, improving academic performance and enhancing personality by providing training and exposure in digital technologies and 21st century skills.

At present, IN-DEED is looking to hire TEACHING FELLOWs for a project helping around 50 grade V students from rural areas of Jodhpur and Pali districts prepare for the Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance exam 2025.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach selected grade V students (approx. 25-30 students at the centre in each district) - Maths, Hindi, and Mental Ability as per exam Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance exam syllabus

2. Conduct regular assessments to keep track of learning progress

3. Guide, engage, mentor & handhold the children to encourage and motivate them to clear the entrance test scheduled in early 2025

4. Enable learners to become more self-assured and confident

5. Make learning easy & fun and help children along the challenging and competitive journey

Location

• Jodhpur District – rural areas of Luni Block

• Pali District – rural areas of Sojat Block

Additional Information:

• Classes will be scheduled 6 days a week

• Timings: Centre shall function after School hours

• Weekly off shall be during the week days not Sunday (as students are free from school on Sunday; IN-DEED hopes to conduct classes for longer hours on Sundays)

• Session Duration: 1-2 hours session per subject per day

• Subjects to be taught: Hindi, Math, Mental Ability (as per syllabus of Navodaya entrance exam)

Compensation:

Compensation for the job will be based on skills, knowledge & experience of selected candidate. Consideration will be provided on basis of number of subjects the trainer can teach.
