(Agriculture Expert)

Organization Profile:

Gramshree Foundation Trust is registered under Trust act in 2018 and have been working in the Tribal belt of Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh with a vision of impacting the lives of Tribal Families through women, so that they can take control of their own lives. Currently Gramshree is working through formation of Farmer Producer Groups and Producer Organization and livelihood intervention on vegetable cultivation, natural farming and value chain intervention which involve processing and marketing of produce.

Gramshree Foundation Trust is looking for young and dynamic individual who has completed BSC Ag and have 1-2 years of field experience or have done MSC in Agriculture to work under project in Sayara Block of Udaipur Rajasthan with focus of ensuring the availability of vegetable for the tribal families throughout the year leading to tackle the challenge of malnutrition in tribal.

Designation: Agriculture Expert

Location: Jaswathgarh, Gogunda Udaipur Rajasthan

Period: Appointment will be provided for 1-year period with Annual Assessment and Renewal on mutual agreement.

Role Expected:

1. Managing the program on promotion of Vegetable cultivation among tribal to manage the challenge of nutritional deficiencies.

2. Responsible for prompting vegetable cultivation among 400 tribal families.

3. Responsible for building the capacity of field team and ensuring the proper monitoring system. Develop the system for monitoring the intervention at farmer’s level.

4. Responsible for ensuring the deliverable mentioned in program like timely training and exposure visits of farmers.

Qualification and Essential Terms

1. Post Graduate in Any Discipline preferably in Agriculture or BSC in Agriculture with 1-2 years of field experience working with farmers directly.

2. Individual should be adoptive to work with Rural Families and stay in villages and block.

3. Need to adopt to work in small team, work more as an entrepreneur. Must be expertise multi-tasking.

4. Individual should have its own two wheelers for movement in the field (Mandatory).

5. Gramshree work with women Farmers, hence women candidates will be given preference.

6. One-year appointment has clause that one-month salary is deducted in 5 equal monthly installments and kept as security. This amount is paid back after completion of one-year period in the organization. If the candidates leave before one year, security amount deducted is forfeited.

Offer:

Remuneration: Rs 25,000/-

Other support:

• Petrol Cost for two wheelers as per organization norms.

• Mobile and internet usage expenses as per organization norms.

• Travel for company work will be covered by Trust as per organization norms.
