Job Description

Established in 2014 Wishes and Blessings is a registered NGO dedicated to helping the underprivileged with an aim to spread blessings and fulfill wishes by linking donors with beneficiaries.

Job Summary: The Outreach Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing outreach strategies to increase community engagement and awareness about our programs and services. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute outreach plans and strategies to engage with community members, organizations, and partners.

• Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and meetings.

• Create and distribute promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content.

• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and other relevant organizations.

• Collect and analyze feedback from outreach activities to improve future efforts.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective communication strategies.

• Prepare reports on outreach activities and their impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or a similar role.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Passion for community engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with diverse communities.

• Familiarity with local community organizations and stakeholders.

• Bilingual or multilingual skills.
