About Us:

Jamghat is a non-profit organization based in New Delhi, which has been helping children, living and working on streets of Delhi to realize their dreams and re-connect them to society, since 2003.

Responsibilities:


•Develop and implement engaging English language lessons tailored to the needs of street children


•Foster a communicative approach to learning, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills


•Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment


•Design interactive activities and projects to enhance language proficiency


•Collaborate with other educators and volunteers to integrate English language learning into broader educational programs


•Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback

Requirements:


•Proven experience as an English teacher or educator experience 2-3 years


•Strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills


•Ability to inspire and motivate children from diverse backgrounds


•Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with disadvantaged

children


•Relevant educational background in English, Education, or related field

  • About Organization:Facilitate interaction between the child and the Person-in-charge/ Superintendent. • Meet the child every day to ensure his/her safety, welfare and development. • Resolve the problems of the child and deal compassionately with his/ her difficulties in life in the CCI • Participate in the orientation, monitoring, education, vocational and rehabilitation programmes in respect of the child and attend the parent teacher meetings in schools in respect of children assigned to them. • Collect the child‘s medical, mental status, cognitive assessment, psychosocial and addiction status reports from the persons concerned and place them in the medical record of the child. • Keep track of all important dates for the child such as dates of production, hearing, appointments for medic al treatment, and others. • Conduct children committee meeting, management committee meeting , discipline committee meeting as per the need of children and conduct central level meeting as per required for staff with per
