Location: Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Experience: 2 to 3 years in knowledge management, learning, and evaluation in entrepreneurship and livelihood programs
Job Type: Full-Time / Contractual (Initially for one year)
Overview:
The KML&E Officer for the Women Entrepreneurship Program will be responsible for managing and coordinating all knowledge management, learning, and evaluation activities related to the program. This role involves working closely with the Project Coordinator, participants, mentors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge sharing, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge Management:
o Develop and implement a knowledge management strategy to capture and share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
o Maintain a repository of program documentation, including reports, training materials, and participant feedback.
o Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and webinars for program stakeholders.
2. Learning & Capacity Building:
o Design and deliver training sessions and capacity-building activities for program participants and team members.
o Support the development of learning materials, guides, and toolkits to enhance program delivery.
o Promote a culture of continuous learning within the program team and among participants.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
o Develop and implement a comprehensive M&E framework for the program.
o Monitor program activities and outputs against established indicators and targets.
o Conduct regular evaluations to assess program outcomes and impact.
4. Data Management & Analysis:
o Collect, manage, and analyze program data to generate insights and inform decision-making.
o Develop and maintain databases to track participant progress, program activities, and outcomes.
o Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Reporting & Communication:
o Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Project Coordinator and other stakeholders.
o Develop and disseminate communication materials, including newsletters, blogs, and social media updates.
o Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program achievements and challenges.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Liaise with mentors, industry experts, and partners to gather feedback and enhance program offerings.
o Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration.
o Organize events and opportunities for stakeholders to share their experiences and insights.
7. Program Improvement:
o Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
o Implement changes to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the program based on evaluation findings.
o Support the Project Coordinator in strategic planning and program development activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in knowledge management, learning, and evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit or entrepreneurship environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with diverse communities and understanding of gender issues.
• Knowledge of local business ecosystems and resources for entrepreneurs.
• Previous experience in program development and evaluation.
