We are looking for suitable candidates for the post of Program Manager – Inclusive Education, for our South Delhi centres. The Manager will lead a project to work with children with disabilities and their families towards fulfilling their Right to Education.
Job Description
• Execution and overall management of the project
• Facilitating in the development of education standards, procedures and information systems
• Evaluate the quality of education within the project, identify and address areas needing development
• Support the engagement in partnerships and networks that push for accountability of governments towards child rights and works to strengthen civil society organizations capacity and resources
• Ensure that monitoring and evaluation as well as reporting of the programme
• Foster team performance and effective working relationships
• Proactively keep abreast of current developments in the child development sector and assess its impact on ASTHA’s work.
• Network to facilitate information exchange and dialogue across different stakeholder groups (government, civil society, research and other institutions) in the sector.
• Oversee the financial management of the project and delegate accordingly
• Report to funding Agencies as per the need of the project and plan for the next financial year
• Provide required support to program staff
Desired skills
• Experience in training, content development, module development in education / Inclusive Education
• Field experience in working with children with disabilities
• Interest and willingness to learn on the job to work with children with disabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi
Qualifications:
• Academic/professional background : Masters in Disability/Education /Social Work with minimum 3-4 years of experience in working with a disability organization
• Good Computer knowledge and skills
• Knowledge on Disability Law , Right to Education, Child rights are added qualifications
Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience of the candidate.
