Field Coordinator:

JSS is a leading non-profit NGO implementing various Skill Development Training Programmes on sustainable economic empowerment model for unemployed youth in Puri district of Odisha.

Field Coordinator is a key position and calls for ability to multi-task with a passion to work with a team and communities in the Puri district.

Requisite Qualification & Experience:

• Must have passed Graduation/ equivalent degree from reputed University.

• Working Experience in NGO for minimum 2 years.

• Must have two-wheeler motorcycle for field work.

Job Description of Field Coordinator:

(1) Conduct Survey in the different blocks of Puri district

(2) Mobilization of target group (18-45 years age group)

(3) Identification of Vocational Course Trainer at Village/GP/ Block level

(4) Identification of Venue (Training Center)

(5) Counseling and e-KYC Registration of Trainees

(6) Inauguration of Training Centers through VIPs

(7) Meeting with community leaders/ Public Representatives

(8) Networking with other line departments

(9) Supervision and Monitoring of the training centers

(10) Supply of Tools, Equipment & TLM

(11) Maintenance of tour diary

(12) Conducting of Activities

(13) Formation and operation of SHGs

(14) Conducting certificate distribution ceremonies

(15) Ensure timely data collection, reporting, analysis, generation of reports.

(16) Uploading of information, data, reports on different web portals.

(17) Assist the Director in day to day affairs.

Payment:

Remuneration for the position would be Rs. 13,000/- per month (Consolidated) or negotiable as per the expertise.

Location:

Place of posting will be district office at Puri and will report to the Director.

• About Organization:The Scheme of Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) formerly known as Shramik Vidyapeeth was a unique creation of Government of India is being implemented through NGOs in the country since 1967. The scheme was renamed as Jan Shikshan Sansthan in 2000.
