Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Role (60%):
• Bring joy and love for learning alive in classrooms.
• Design innovative and challenging annual, unit, weekly plans, and lesson plans aligned with the school's vision.
• Teach subjects of expertise to around 25 students per class, aiming for stellar outcomes.
• Maintain daily record keeping of student artefacts using worksheets and diverse learning activities.
• Conduct regular assessments, analyzing data to improve classroom outcomes.
• Lead the creation of a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy.
• Collaborate with parents through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement.
Project Leadership (30%):
• Work with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead essential projects for student learning (e.g., Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs).
• Utilize project opportunities to strengthen leadership skills and mentor newer teachers.
School Culture Contribution (10%):
• Contribute to creating a strong staff culture translating into a high-functioning team.
• Establish inclusive spaces of interest for students and staff to build a close-knit community.
• Co-design and own segments of staff training and upskilling initiatives for continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree with a track record of robust academic and holistic performance.
• Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed.) degree or a Diploma in Education, accompanied by a history of strong academic and holistic achievements.
• Preferably, 2 years of experience specifically in teaching primary school students.
• Demonstrated outcome orientation with a commitment to achieving positive results.
• Proficient in goal setting, planning, execution, and reflection processes.
• Strong proficiency in G Suite tools, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Proficient command of the English and Hindi language
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and a passion for working in a rural community.
• Ability to adapt to limited resources and employ innovative teaching methods.
Additional Information:
• This school is set up in Kathiwada, which is remotely located and rural. The nearby airports are Vadodara and Indore.
• The foundation will provide you with comfortable accommodation on the school campus itself.
• This role requires you to commit to a minimum of two years.
