Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Implementation
Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate the implementation of project activities in accordance with the project plan.
Ensure all project activities are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement
Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions with stakeholders to promote awareness and collaboration.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of project interventions.
Collect and analyze data to measure project outcomes and impact.
Prepare regular reports on project progress and performance for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Community Outreach and Advocacy
Conduct community outreach activities to raise awareness about the negative impacts of child marriage and promote behavioral change.
Advocate for policy changes and improved legal frameworks to protect children from early marriage.
Capacity Building
Provide training and capacity-building support to local NGOs, community organizations, and other partners involved in the project.
Develop and disseminate educational materials and resources related to child marriage prevention.
Resource Mobilization
Identify funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of grant proposals and fundraising activities.
Manage project budgets and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and challenges related to project implementation and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards and policies.
Communication and Reporting
Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders and ensure transparency in project activities.
Prepare and present project reports, case studies, and success stories to various audiences, including donors and the general public.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background: Bachelor’s, LLB or Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of child rights, gender equality, or community development.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Knowledge of child protection laws and policies in India.
Fluency in English and local languages (as applicable).
Proficiency in computer skills for program documentation.
Work Environment
The role may require frequent travel to project sites and communities.
Flexibility to work in remote and rural areas with limited resources.
Salary- 20000 per month including PF
