Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Gender Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gender studies, social sciences, or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance on gender-related issues. This role involves, awareness, training & capacity building to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver training sessions and workshops on gender sensitivity and gender mainstreaming.

• Develop indicators and frameworks to monitor and evaluate the impact of gender-focused initiatives.

• To address social issues related to child marriage, domestic violence etc.

• POSH awareness in institutions and well as grievance redressal mechanism.

• Training capacity building on WASH issues.

• Work closely with other departments and external stakeholders to integrate gender perspectives into all aspects of the organization's work.

Qualifications:

Masters' degree in Rural Development, Social Work, developmental studies

Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in community mobilization, training & capacity building and conducting Gender awareness and training.

Strong understanding of gender theory, feminist frameworks, and international gender equality standards and conventions.

Commitment to gender equality and social justice. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
