Job Description

Job description: A full-time paid staff to oversee all fundraising/donor management and communications endeavors.


Responsibilities: The responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Manage all correspondence with donor partners/stakeholders
  • Donor Management o Write persuasive and effective grant proposals, give presentations to grant committees
  • Write creative and appealing periodical impact reports for the donors
  • Ideate and implement creative partnerships with corporate social responsibility (CSR) departments and other NGOs to raise funds, in-kind donations, and awareness
  • Maintain database of potential and existing donors’ philanthropic interests & history of donations
  • Prepare financial statements for donors & public use in collaboration with Accountant
  • Secure funding and in-kind donations across entire spectrum of donor types
  • Coordinate seasonal fundraising campaigns via email, mail, website, social media, and/or events
  • Work closely with accounts team to manage proposed budget & fund utilization
  • Work closely with M&E, Program and Documentation team to manage donor relations


The Communications responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Create seasonal fundraising campaigns via email, mail, website, social media, in collaboration with the team
  • Prepare and distribute press releases for immediate release for important events and announcements • Prepare quarterly newsletters for distribution within 1 month of end of quarter
  • Prepare annual report of last financial year for distribution
  • Increase community awareness of AAWC
  • Manage AAWC website (in collaboration with Kabana Online Com) • Content creation and managing social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube account

Eligibility Criteria

Requirements:

• Experience in fundraising and communications roles, with a proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and communication strategies.

• Highly professional written and oral fluency in English and Hindi language

• Advanced skills in MS Office are a must, (knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Coral draw, other video editor etc., preferred but not necessary)

• Strong networking, written communication, and public speaking skills

• Creativity and flexibility in implementation
