Job Description

Job description: AAWC’s full-time paid staff member, to manage all programmatic functions.

Responsibilities The Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Program management

o Plan annual activities for Udaan to implement on monthly and weekly basis

o Oversee and coordinate for programs smooth execution

o Coordinate with outreach supervisor for onsite as well as in house project activities and its implementation

o Authorizing programs expenses vouchers and overseeing beneficiaries’ requirements

o Identify potential partners and collaborate for further program development, advocacy and awareness

o Attend workshops, seminars, conferences as and when necessary

• Fundraising

o Draft programmatic contents for proposals

o Writing programmatic narrative project reports

o Participate and collaborate with Fundraising Manager for fundraiser or an event

• Communications

o Maintain internal communications about all programmatic functions

? Maintain weekly diary of lessons and highlights to share with staff at weekly meeting (followed feedback/brainstorming by group and implementation of solution by relevant staff)

? Maintain and share minutes of weekly and monthly meetings o Collaborate with Communications Manager to maintain external dialogue with stakeholders

• HR Management

o Collaborate with HR Manager on staff capacity-building

? Identify training opportunities for staff in and around Mumbai

? Conduct workshops and training for staff as necessary

o Manage programs related volunteers and interns

? Develop job descriptions, conduct interviews, manage initiation process for program staff

? Oversee program staffs career development, performance evaluation, and post-placement outcomes

• Monitoring & Evaluation

o Oversee all documentation in manual and electronic forms in collaboration with the documentation officer o Assess the Udaan program its implementation, impact and further development for its upliftment

o Conduct visits at stakeholders and beneficiaries’ homes as necessary

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only for female candidates
  • Graduation/Post-graduation in relevant discipline preferred.
  • Prefer experience of working with vulnerable girls of marginalized community 
  • Experience of managing a small team and project activities on daily basis
  • Should be able to independently work on MS office
  • Should be fluent in English and Hindi language
  • Multi-tasking, dynamic and ready to work in challenging situations
  • Good documentation and inter-personal skills
