Background of LEADS:
LEADS is a non profit organisation established in 2005 that has been working in areas of livelihood, education, WASH promotion, plantation & environment , clean energy, migration, skill development, health etc. across 18 districts of Jharkhand and in 5 states of India. LEADS is committed to working for the welfare and development of the poor and marginalised communities helping realise a better and sustainable future for them.
About the Project:
UNICEF and LEADS have launched a six-month project across nine districts in Jharkhand, focusing on promoting WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) compliance, climate change and environmental sustainability (CCES), and school safety and disaster resilience (SS&DR). The project aims to create a baseline data for intervention schools and collaborate with the government to secure funding for adherence to WASH, CCES, and SS&DR guidelines. Additionally, it will provide technical training and capacity building for teachers, ECO clubs, Bal Sansad, School Management Committees, and other key stakeholders within the school ecosystem.
Job Summary:
The MEAL Officer will be responsible for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) activities for the WASH, CCES, and SS&DR project. This includes developing MEAL frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting on project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement MEAL frameworks for the project.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret project data.
• Ensure accountability mechanisms are in place.
• Provide regular reports on project performance to stakeholders.
• Facilitate learning and knowledge sharing within the project team.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Rural Development/PGDM or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEAL activities, preferably in the development sector.
Reference:
• Two professional references to check LEADS policies compliances.
Salary:
Salary will be as per industry standard and negotiable as per experience.
