Organizational background:
Aawahan “The New Voice” is a grass root level Non-Governmental Organisation which was founded in 2014 by a group of committed, enthusiastic and academic experts of the areas mainly concerned with extending and integrating the study of environment, Biosciences and socio-economic development campaign. Since the inception, it has worked across thematic areas including Livelihood, Social Inclusion, Women Empowerment, Health, Education, Environment Protection etc., with special focus on social and economic improvement and financial inclusion of poor and marginalized communities including women and young girls.
Project background:
Aawahan The New Voice is implementing a community based project intervention in partnership with HCLFoundation that focused on “Strengthening Women Collectives” since 2021. The program has adopted multipronged approaches and strategies like building community based micro-saving and credit institutions, micro-entrepreneurial education and culture, employability and entrepreneurship skills, economic engagement through collectives and entrepreneurship, backward and forward linkages, Linkages with Social Security Schemes to achieve social and economic improvement among the disadvantaged population groups living in poverty condition in urban areas. Over the years, project has evolved and demonstrated successful implementation of key components formation and strengthening of Women SHGs, Formation and strengthening of women producer group, operating community based Common Service Centre for e-governance service, establishment of Livelihood and Skill Development Centre for facilitating economic engagement and digital literacy. Going forward the project looks at scale of successful program components to cover increase program beneficiary and disadvantaged population groups while continuously sustaining the community impacts.
We are soliciting applications for the post of CSC Operator to support the roll out of Mobile CSC in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to enhance the availability and accessibility of e-governance service among disadvantaged population.

Roles and Responsibility
• Prepare a weekly and monthly work plan detailing key activities, timeline and budget in alignment with program objectives and goal with focus on enhancing CSC coverage.
• Develop a monthly roster plan for movement of Mobile CSC van in consultation with CSC Coordinator and community stakeholders including UPSRLM, DUDA, CSC state office.
• Ensure movement of Mobile CSC Van in alignment of roster plan and program activities to provide e-governance service to disadvantage population.
• Operate CSC service on the mobile van for e-governance service to community people including children, adolescents, women and older person.
• Aggregate, compile and maintain record for all CSC beneficiary and coverage area including details like beneficiary government id and type of services taken up.
• Increase visibility of Mobile CSC services through social media posts such as Facebook, X, Instagram, linkedin, YouTube etc.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, urban local bodies, ward members, SHGs, community influencers, Bank officials, NABARD officials, SRLM, URLM, BIRD, educational institutions, local vendors and business units.
• Ensure safety and security of Mobile CSC and equipment and protection from any unwanted damage.
• Prepare and maintain an up to date records of asset list in hard and soft copies.
Honorarium:
Monthly honorarium will be Rs 10,000 – 15,000 per month + Rs 3000 as local travel per month in addition to other benefits like health insurance.
Qualification and experience
• Master in Sociology or Master in Art from reputed college and university.
• Advance Diploma in Computer Education (ADCA) with proficiency in MS office (World, Excel, Power Point) etc.
• 2-3 years of experience in community based project implementation in the area of livelihood, skill development, micro-entrepreneurship development, education, social welfare schemes etc.
•Experience in design and development of social media posts and handling Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Familiarity with government policies and programmes including social and welfare schemes.
• Strong communication including writings, speaking and documentation in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work in small teams, and flexible ways of working
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting writing, case study compilation.
• Overall management capacity to monitor, report and guide the team under him/her.
