ABOUT THE ROLE :
As a lead member of the Learning Resource Centre of CARENIDHI, the prime focus will be on developing and implementing innovative strategies to create a team for knowledge sharing and dissemination of learning resources with efficiency.
The role of organizing knowledge assets that are accessible to relevant stakeholders involves collaborations with groups as varied as grassroots NGOs, health professionals in primary care settings, Academicians, Donor Community and Policy Makers.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
? Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
? Help other members of the team involved in creation of learning resources, creation and organization of high-quality content, including articles, presentations and e-publications.
? Facilitate communications with collaborators for knowledge sharing sessions, workshops and training programs to promote a culture of continuous learning involving digital platforms.
? Ensure all content is up-to-date, accurate and accessible to intended audience through appropriate channels
? Establish evaluation and monitoring mechanisms to measure outcomes of our learning initiatives on a quarterly basis
? Identify training needs and help develop virtual communities of practice to address skill gaps in our training initiatives
? Streamline existing information sharing mechanism for information sharing and retrieval processes
? Foster a collaborative environment for integration of knowledge management and training initiatives
SKILLS EXPECTED
ESSENTIAL
• Masters degree in a field relevant to our current work (Development studies, with a thrust on health, Disability inclusive development, Child Development, etc.)
• A strong understanding of knowledge management with proven experience in research, organizational learning, and proficiency in using management principles and techniques
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
• Experience and interest in IT, digital safety, with the skills and knowledge to ensure the organisation’s computer ware, internet, telecommunication services, website, are functional and secure while coordinating the systems to ensure they perform at optimal speed and safety as and when we scale up work to engage with more audiences online.
• Ability to monitor website and social media analytics to increase our digital presence and engagement
• Excellent communication skills with language proficiency in English and Hindi and basic interpersonal skills in office settings and community settings for knowledge generation and training
DESIRABLE, THOUGH NOT MANDATORY
• Ability to work with Government agencies to scale up programs of impact
• Knowledge of Library systems with experience for digital library management
• Past Experience of Working in Qualitative Research
