Position: Project Coordinator

Role and Responsibility

• Coordinate and implement projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution of activities, milestones, and deliverables.

• Identify and address challenges, risks, and issues that may impact project implementation, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Assist Program Manager in developing and designing project plans, strategies, objectives, and action plans in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.

• Collaborate with project related stakeholders, partners, and communities

• Monitor project progress, performance, and outcomes against set goals, objectives, and indicators.

• Maintain and nurture relationships with donors, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

• Plan and implement project monitoring and course correction to meet its deliverables within deadline

• Manage project related MIS and make necessary analysis to generate insights

• Manage project budget and assist in developing, managing, and monitoring project budgets

• Coordinate with finance and administration teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with donor requirements, and adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Project trainings and handholding support to project team

• Create periodic reports of project and make necessary communication with donors, stakeholders.

• Coordinate and support project team

• Support program management team to meet organisations strategies and plans

Must have:

• Minimum graduation degree with Sociology or English honors

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in social sector at grassroots project coordination level

• Good written and verbal communication skill in Hindi, English

• Functional skills in Microsoft Excel and PPT.

• Open to traveling.

Good to have:

• Experience of project implementation in Jharkhand context

• Knowledge of any regional language

• Any skill on creating, designing, conducting cultural events.

• Social medial handling.

• Understanding of local culture

Report to: Program Manager

Status: Full-Time

Salary: 20-30k
