Job Description

Applicants (M/F) are invited to apply as an Economist at a Research Organization in Kolkata undertaking studies and projects in the socio-economic domain. Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics or Statistics. Applicants with 3-5 yrs experience and interested in research/ action research along with proficiency in undertaking statistical or software-based analysis of secondary and primary source data would be preferred. Applicants should be open to conducting extensive field work in any State of India.

The Organisation also welcomes the following to apply:

• Experienced professionals with the requisite qualification looking for new challenges. (preferably experienced in research or action research, including proficiency in statistical software based on secondary and primary-large data set).

• Senior or retired individuals with the requisite qualification and experience seeking meaningful project-engagement on a part time or full time basis.
