Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the SORT project, ensuring smooth execution from planning to implementation.
Financial Management: Handle project budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.
On-Ground Execution: Lead the on-ground activities of the project, ensuring compliance with project goals and timelines.
Solid Waste Management: Utilize strong knowledge of solid waste management practices to guide project activities.
Networking: Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including the Municipalities and other Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
Software Proficiency: Use Microsoft Office, G Suite, and other relevant software to manage project tasks and documentation.
Team Management: Supervise a team of 10-15 people, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Public Speaking: Represent the project in public forums, delivering presentations and speaking on behalf of the organization.
Writing and Data Analysis: Prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), Quarterly Progress Reports (QPRs), Annual Reports, and Statements of Expenditure. Conduct data analysis to support project outcomes.
Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating and guiding the team towards achieving project objectives.
Commitment to Environment Conservation: Show dedication and passion for environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
Community Outreach: Efficiently engage in community outreach and mobilization activities.
Eligibility Criteria
*For Mumbai: proficiency in Marathi language is must (write, speak)
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Social Studies, or any other relevant subject.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of environment or social science with a special focus on waste management.
