Location: Jamui, Bihar

Age: 30 - 45 Years

Experience/Competencies

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience of working at district / block level in a reputed NGO implementing nutrition/health/ sanitation-related initiatives.

• At least two years’ experience in developing training materials and building capacities of frontline workers and project functionaries in Hindi

• Experience in working with SC/ST communities of districts/blocks (experience of working in SC/ST communities in Bihar will be an added advantage)

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication English -Hindi abilities (both written and verbal), project management expertise and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Qualification:

Master’s or equivalent degree in Social Work, Social Studies, Nutrition, Rural Management, Rural Development or in any other relevant stream from a recognized university.

Job Description:

• Prepare annual training calendar in coordination with project stakeholders.

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and areas of capacity building.

• Organize training programs for Crèche Caregivers and other project functionaries.

• Arranging Resource Person for conducting trainings of Crèche Caregivers and ensuring quality delivery of training content.

• Use specific assessment formats to assess the quality of training and provide feedback for improvement.

• Supervising crèches on regular basis and assessing the skills of Crèche Caregivers and extending handholding support and guidance to them on regular basis.

• Organize refresher training sessions as per identified needs and emerging challenges.

• Document innovations and learnings of Crèche Caregivers who have demonstrated significant skills in managing crèches.

• Identify underperforming Crèche Caregivers and provide regular hand-holding support and mentoring.

• Maintain a comprehensive training database to track all training activities and assessments conducted.

• Provide help to project staffs in using MIS. Organize and conduct training on MIS for project staffs.

• Assist Program Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on project progress based on MIS reports on project activities.

Salary: - INR -45000-50000- per Month

  • About Organization:Samagra Seva was established by a group of young persons hailing from the lowest socio-economic echelons of the society who had experienced the pangs of poverty, exploitations and atrocities in their childhood. The organization’s founding members Makeshwar, Rajesh, Kumud and Bhola Tanti come from poor families, and were themselves child labourers, working in a roadside ‘hotel’ when they were just 8-10 years old. Makeshwar served food to customers, and Rajesh worked as the masalchi (preparing spices). Two members from Parivar Sewa, a (Christian Children’s Fund (Child Fund India)) Child Fund India Partner, found them working there and helped them move out and enroll at Pariwar Sewa, Jamui to pursue education.
