Job Description

Responsibilities

? Develop and implement program strategies and action plans to achieve program

goals and objectives

? Manage program budgets, including tracking and reporting on expenses and revenue

? Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and

maximize program impact

? Supervise and support program staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed

? Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

? Monitor program outcomes and prepare regular reports for management and funders

? Identify and pursue funding opportunities to sustain and expand program initiatives

? Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nonprofit program

management

Partner Management

? Should handle partner reporting from time to time as per

? Partner compliances and updates from time to time

? Weekly / Monthly reviews and updates from Partner NGOs

? Partner Indirect / Direct beneficiary interaction and visits

People Management

? All performances of direct reporting staff

? Appraisal recommendation

? Any escalation ore deviation from routine

Donor reporting and documentation

? Provide adequate information from time to time

? Donor engagement for volunteering work and field visits for Impact study etc

  • About Organization:In 2005, Huanglongbing (HLB, citrus greening) was detected in Florida. HLB is the most economically significant citrus disease in the world. Since the initial detection, Florida has seen a decrease in the citrus fruit box counts from over 200 million boxes to what is now approximately 77 million boxes. Likewise, the amount of commercial citrus acreage has dropped from 750,000 to 430,000 acres. Currently, individual growers use a mixed strategy, including a variety of practices to try to combat HLB and ACP. These strategies vary by grower with no reported or scientifically proven results attributable to any given combination of management practices. Experts identified the need for comprehensive field testing of HLB management practices to evaluate the efficacy of the practices. It was also recommended that there be a centralized database to inform growers and assist HLB researchers to improve HLB management practices.
