Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Need Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive health needs assessments in the target areas.

Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare providers, and community leaders to

gather relevant data and permissions.

Analyze health data to identify priority areas and tailor outreach efforts accordingly.

2. Coordination and Permissions:

Secure relevant permissions from district officials and railway authorities for the

Lifeline Express visit.

Ensure the availability of appropriate siding for easy accessibility of beneficiaries.

3. Community Outreach:

Inform the community about the upcoming Lifeline Express visit through house-to- house visits, community meetings, and local media.

> Register patients and schedule initial consultations.

> Develop and implement strategies to maximize community participation and

engagement.

> Handle all aspects of the camp's publicity, including press releases, local media

engagement, and community announcements.

> Manage all other outreach-related activities to ensure the success of the Lifeline

Express project.

4. Outpatient Department (OPD) Management:

> Obtain necessary permissions from district officials for setting up the OPD area.

Coordinate the logistics for setting up the OPD area on the Lifeline Express, ensuring smooth functioning during the visit. Assist medical staff in conducting initial consultations, screenings, and check-ups.

5. Data Management and Reporting:

> Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, patient registrations, and medical services provided.

> Prepare regular reports on outreach efforts, community feedback, and health

outcomes.

> Utilize data to improve outreach strategies and enhance the impact of the Lifeline Express.

6. Partnership and Collaboration:

> Build and maintain relationships with local NGOs, healthcare providers, and

community organizations.

> Identify and engage potential partners to support the outreach activities and

enhance service delivery.

> Coordinate with volunteers and train them to assist in community outreach and

patient management.

7. Monitoring and Evaluation:

> Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the

effectiveness of outreach activities.

> Collect and analyze feedback from beneficiaries to continually improve service

delivery.

> Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and funding agencies to demonstrate

project impact and outcomes.



Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.

> A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in community outreach, healthcare

management, or a similar role.

> Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

> Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

> Familiarity with local health issues and cultural sensitivities in rural areas.

Proficiency in English and Hindi is a must. And, understanding of local languages and dialects is an advantage.

> Willingness to travel extensively across the country every month.


Preference for male candidates due to travel and logistical requirements.

Salary:

Rs. 45,000/- per month

IIF acts as a catalyst to bring together the Government, the corporate sector and existing NGOs in mass health programmes of National priority to ensure a healthy and vibrant India. Originally promoted by different UN agencies, UNDP, UNICEF and WHO, in association with the Governments of each participating country, IIF is part of a 13-member International Federation of IMPACT Organisations (IFIO) that meet once in two years to deliberate on issues related to disability prevention and reduction.
