3. SCOPE OF JOB
• Project Planning:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
• Set realistic goals and targets for project implementation.
• Implementation:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the leprosy project
• Ensure that project activities align with national and international leprosy control strategies
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise project staff
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, community health workers, and volunteers
• Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems
• Analyse data to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other partners
• Engage with local communities to increase awareness and reduce stigma and discrimination.
• Resource Management:
• Manage project budget and resources efficiently
• Ensure proper allocation and use of medications, diagnostic tools, and other supplies
• Capacity Building:
• Organize training programs for healthcare workers on leprosy diagnosis and treatment
• Develop educational materials for patients and communities
• Advocacy:
• Raise awareness about leprosy and advocate for patient rights
