Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Salary: INR 3.6 - 4.2 Lakhs per annum

Tanta Gatha Women Weaver Producers Co Ltd is a flourishing producer company with 500 skilled women weavers dedicated to handloom weaving and natural dyeing. Promoted by the Mauna Dhwani Foundation, the company is committed to preserving traditional weaving techniques while advancing sustainable practices and empowering its members.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic CEO to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company. The CEO will procure raw materials, manage shareholders and other stakeholders, and oversee the entire production and sales process. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in managing similar operations and a passion for supporting and promoting traditional crafts. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth production processes, quality control, and timely delivery of products.

Procurement: Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials required for handloom weaving and natural dyeing, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable practices.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, members, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support the company’s growth and mission.

Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to market and sell the company’s products, both domestically and internationally, while maintaining brand integrity.

Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring financial stability and growth.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Compliance and Governance: Ensure the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of corporate governance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Textile Management, Rural Management, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience of managing operations in a similar industry, preferably in handloom weaving or related sectors.

Strong understanding of procurement, production, and sales processes.

Experience in enterprise clusters and familiarity with NABARD programs is preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a rural setting and lead a team of skilled artisans.
