Assessment and evaluation of all categories of differently abled persons in in Sensory impairments such as Deaf blind, Speech and Hearing, Visual Impaired disabilities/Developmental Delay aspects including activities of Daily Living Skills (ADL) and preparing Individual Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support through regular visits to Neighborhood centres for providing basic special education services, skill and knowledge transfer of disability management to DAPs and their families.
• Undertake regular home visits and train and mentor the Community Rehabilitation Worker (CRW) through shadow training for providing follow up home based visits and services
• Work in coordination with the subdivision mobile team and train the Parents/Caregivers in all aspects related to Special education for cognition issues.
• Coordinate with Education, ICDS, Health and other line departments for enabling DAPs to avail social care services and benefits.
• Monitor the development and progression of the individuals receiving special education services in Block Level One Stop
• Social Care and Service Centre as per the integrated MIS formats developed by the project.
• Assist the project to provide community-based services as guided by the State, District and OSC team.
• Attend all training program (either residential or on daily basis) as directed by the project as part of strengthening and capacity building
