We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Regional Program Officer at Madhya Pradesh Samaj Seva Sanstha (MPSSS). In this role, you will focus on strengthening our partner organizations, applying your organizational development skills to enhance collaboration and capacity building. Your contributions will be vital in driving our mission forward and maximizing our collective impact in the community.

Work location: Based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh with extensive travel across the state.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

General

• To provide handholding support to the Partner organizations in the implementation of the different projects in the region.

• To proactively monitor, evaluate and build up the capacity of the diocesan team to overcome the major obstacles and hindrances in the implementation of the project as and when required.

• Monitor the assigned Project related activities of Madhya Pradesh Samaj Seva Sanstha and ensure that they are implemented on time, benefiting the staff and people in 9 Partner Organizations of MPSSS.

• Ensure that all deadlines mentioned in the proposal should be met in time and all necessary actions should be taken as required.

• Communicate promptly to the Director, MPSSS all deviations in the project implementation and suggest corrective measures.

• Liaison with different departments of Government and likeminded NGOs at regular intervals and ensure the delivery of the results.

• Willingness to travel to the field across the state of Madhya Pradesh and attend trainings and meetings arranged even outside the region.

Documentation

• Draw up your Monthly Action Plan for the next month (date wise) in consultation with Director MPSSS by 25th of every month and monthly narrative reports of the action taken in relation to the action plan by 30th of every month.

• To assist Director to correspond with partners, donors etc.

• Document the major achievements, improvement, problems encountered under different programme.

• Ensure that timely data as well as annual reports are collected from the dioceses and partner in relation to the projects as well other programmes on monthly basis and good reports are prepared on quarterly basis.

• Get necessary information about the Government schemes, documented and shared the same with the partners in the region.

• Support to make various IEC materials, annual report etc. as and when required

• Plan and prepare necessary training materials and modules required for different types of training programmes and workshops.

• Make arrangements for GBM and AGBM and reports for the organizations, liaison with the Registrar for filing of the annual reports.

• Make new innovative concept notes and proposals to present to the donors.

• Maintain a daily Diary which shall be the property of MPSSS.

Requirements:

- MSW Degree with 5+ years of experience in the Development Sector and Policy Development

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work in a team and support colleagues

- Excellent Communication skills in English and Hindi

Remuneration: 44000 INR per month (all inclusive)
