Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical counseling services, including assessments, individual, family, and group therapy.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

• Conduct mental health evaluations and provide diagnostic services.

• Collaborate with other service providers to coordinate client care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed and maintain a safe environment for clients.

• Document client interactions, maintain accurate and timely case notes, and track progress.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and group therapy sessions.

• Refer clients to appropriate services when additional support is needed.

• Engage in community outreach programs to promote mental health services.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in counseling practices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree/bachelor's degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• 2+ years of clinical experience in individual, family, or group therapy.

• Experience working in non-profit settings, particularly with underserved or at-risk populations.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and mental health best practices.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in English and Hindi

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in community outreach or program development.

• Knowledge of mental health service navigation and resources in the local community.

• Experience in substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or trauma recovery.

• Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.

• Cultural competency and an understanding of the unique needs of diverse populations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
