Job Description

As a Trainer at Sathya Educare Competency Trust, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of elder care by developing and delivering a comprehensive 6-week training program for caregivers. Your responsibilities will include managing the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the Karnataka Skill Development syllabus, and assessing candidates before certification. You will also design and monitor a one-week training program for volunteers, SHGs, and family members, helping them effectively support wellness activities, particularly in rural areas.

Curriculum Management:

Develop and manage the 6-week training program, including practicals.

Align the curriculum with the Karnataka Skill Development caregiver training syllabus.

Candidate Assessment:

Evaluate candidates to ensure they meet certification standards.

Job Coordination:

Work with agencies to help trained caregivers find job opportunities.

Stewards Program:

Create a one-week training for volunteers, SHGs, and family members.

Monitor their performance in wellness activities, especially in rural areas.

Skills Monitoring:

Track the progress and effectiveness of caregiver training.

Plan short advanced courses (e.g., dementia care) for further skill development.

Coordination and Networking:

Build and maintain relationships with care agencies, elder care homes, and NGOs.

Ensure ongoing collaboration with local agencies for program sustainability.

Data and Reporting:

Manage a system to track progress and outcomes.

Provide weekly and monthly reports on the program’s activities.

Program Expansion:

Plan and execute the expansion of training programs to reach more communities.

Support in Rural Areas:

Assist with wellness activities and training in Chamarajanagar and other rural regions.

Sustainable Growth:

Develop strategies to ensure the long-term success of training programs, adapting to community needs.
