Job Overview:
MUKTI is seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator to craft compelling newsletters that effectively communicate the impact of our initiatives, projects, and campaigns. As a Newsletter Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing engaging content that resonates with our donors, volunteers, partners, and community members. Your storytelling skills will help convey the essence of our mission and inspire action, support, and advocacy. It's a Work from Office position.
Key Responsibilities:
•Content Creation: Develop and write informative, inspiring, and engaging newsletters to keep MUKTI’s supporters informed about ongoing projects, success stories, and upcoming events.
•Storytelling: Use impactful storytelling to highlight the lives transformed by MUKTI’s initiatives, featuring real-life stories from the communities we serve.
•Campaign Support: Collaborate with the program and fundraising teams to support specific campaigns through targeted newsletters that drive awareness, donations, and engagement.
•Content Strategy: Work with the communications and programme team to plan, execute, and evaluate content strategies for newsletters that align with MUKTI’s goals and vision.
•Audience Engagement: Tailor content for different audience segments (donors, volunteers, partners) and maintain consistent communication to strengthen relationships.
•Design Collaboration: Work with designers to create visually appealing newsletters, ensuring proper use of images, infographics, and design elements that enhance content readability.
• Performance Monitoring: Track newsletter performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and use insights to optimize future editions.
• Research & Trends: Stay informed about global development issues, NGO trends, and best practices in email marketing to keep MUKTI’s newsletters relevant and impactful.
Requirements:
•Experience: 1-3 years of experience in content creation, journalism, or communications, with a focus on email newsletters or digital marketing.
•Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with the capacity to convey complex ideas in a clear, accessible, and inspiring way.
•NGO Passion: Deep understanding of and commitment to MUKTI’s mission and the broader NGO/development sector.
•Email Marketing Tools: Proficiency in newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or similar tools.
•Storytelling: Ability to turn real-world stories from beneficiaries into powerful narratives that inspire and motivate.
•Design Sensibility: Understanding of design principles and experience working with visual content (experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus). Creative design of flyer, social media post, image for website is desirable.
•Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
•Collaboration: Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments. Coordination with various project/programmes is expected.
•Website content creation and maintenance of website content
•Regular circulation of developed content in various social and chat media
Preferred Qualifications:
•Candidates having Masters with proficiency in English and Bengali may apply
•Candidates must have basic html and website backend, specially working wordpress knowledge
•Fluent in Contemporary AI Applications
•Prior experience working with NGOs or in the development sector.
•Experience with donor communications or fundraising campaigns.
•Familiarity with the issues of rural development, education, and environmental sustainability.
•Basic knowledge of social media marketing and digital outreach.
Age : Candidates below 50yrs as of 01.04.2024 but not a constrain for the right candidates.
