Education: Graduate / postgraduate/Diploma in Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Marketing/ social work/ Science/ IT/Agri. extension or related areas.
Experience:
· At least 05 years of experience in handling communication related work.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Ability to develop and rolling out the communication strategy.
· Capable to collaborate with project stakeholders to prepare communication tools – viz. jingles, spot, AV clip etc.
· Should be familiar with data analyses and data disclosure, preparing presentation, flyers, Note etc.
Job Description:
· Extend support for developing communication plan
· Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to promote project district tourism initiatives both locally and globally.
· Create and curate content for the Tourism E-Portal, including blogs, articles, videos, and social media posts that highlight the district's tourism offerings.
· Work on branding initiatives to position project district as a premier tourism destination, including the creation of promotional materials and campaigns.
· Facilitate effective communication between the project team, district administration, local communities, and tourists.
· Train local stakeholders in effective communication and marketing strategies to promote their tourism-related businesses.
· Organize and manage promotional events, workshops, and seminars to increase awareness of project district tourism potential.
· Facilitate social media marketing as per plan (digital)
