Job Description

Jantara Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to addressing hunger, promoting education, and uplifting economically weaker sections of society. We focus on providing food, education, vocational training, and social welfare to underprivileged communities across India. Our mission is to create a world where no one goes hungry and everyone has access to education and the tools needed for a better future. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Fundraiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating funds to support our initiatives. You will play a key role in helping us expand our impact by identifying new funding opportunities, building relationships with donors, and organizing fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsiblity

• Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to support the Jantara Foundation’s mission
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, businesses, and organizations
• Organize fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and raise awareness
• Collaborate with the team to create compelling donor proposals and presentations
• Maintain donor records and provide timely follow-up and communication
• Monitor fundraising performance and report on progress to the management team

Requirements:

• Passion for social causes and a strong belief in the mission of Jantara Foundation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet fundraising targets
• Prior experience in fundraising or sales is a plus
• Creativity in developing fundraising ideas and campaigns
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
