Job Description


We looking for proactive and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as NGO Outreach Interns, contributing to CPF’s mission of promoting transparency and accountability in the NGO sector through our due diligence certification. This role will involve engaging with NGOs, facilitating the certification process, and supporting capacity-building initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach and EngagementCraft and send personalized emails to NGOs, showcasing the benefits of organization’s due diligence certification for enhancing credibility and donor trust.
  • Follow up with NGOs via phone, addressing their queries and clearly explaining the certification process.
  • Documentation and SupportAssist NGOs in compiling and submitting the required documentation for certification.
  • Provide step-by-step guidance on the process to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain the NGO validation database to ensure accurate record-keeping and accessibility.
  • Certification Process ManagementCoordinate the issuance of organizational certifications to NGOs that successfully complete the due diligence process.
  • Highlight the value of the certification in strengthening donor confidence and operational credibility.
  • Data and Operations ManagementReview and analyze financial, legal, and organizational documents for compliance and validation.
  • Coordinate with team member for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), other necessary background checks.
  • Maintain and update NGO validation and non-validated data on the organization portal, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Address inquiries related to organizational registration and provide support for NGO portal navigation and usage.
  • Reporting and CoordinationPrepare weekly reports detailing outreach activities, NGO responses, and progress in the certification process.
  • Collaborate with team members to compile and analyze NGO data, ensuring smooth operational workflows and informed decision-making.


Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, MS Word, Excel, and email platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to explain processes clearly and provide solutions effectively.
  • Prior experience in outreach or NGO engagement is preferred but not mandatory.
