Job Responsibilities
? Develop and execute a work plan for data capture and reporting against project performance indicators and emergent project information needs.
? Develop systems, manage regular data quality assessments, data cleaning, data analysis.
? Identify and implement the appropriate information-gathering approach to inform knowledge gaps that are relevant for project decision-making.
? Conduct field visits to understand the context and identify new areas of investigation
? Design and execute surveys and/or other data-gathering mechanisms for program evaluations.
? Review, analyze, and present findings from monitoring reports and other collected data to identify insights and suggest approaches to studies and project implementation strategy.
? Develop advanced analytical and qualitative reports showcasing the progress and impact of the programs
? Conduct independent end-to-end evaluations - from large-scale surveys to inform baseline/ annual/ endline assessments, to regular small dipsticks that contribute to adaptive management. This will involve: study design, instrument formation, conduct the sampling, train and monitor the enumerators, ensure quality data collection, analysis, and report generation.
? Conduct field visits to verify the data collected and gather insights to inform better programming and evaluation.
? Set up the Management Information Systems (MIS) for programs where needed, using appropriate technology.
? Ensure efficient data systems by continuously evolving our approaches to data collection and analysis.
? Effective data utilization by designing dashboards for stakeholders at all levels. Contribute to setting a data-driven decision making process across programs.
? Provide support to program staff in performing data collection, analysis, review, and tracking program progress and impact.
