Job Description

Role Summary


The Community Mobilizer will play a key role in implementing SPEED project activities at the community level. This includes engaging with stakeholders, coordinating project activities, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to the targeted population. This is a full-time position based at the field office in Balapur, Hyderabad.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in field-level project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

• Engage with community members, leaders, and local authorities to foster active participation.

• Facilitate information sharing and build strong support networks.

• Collect data for monitoring and evaluation activities and support project reporting.

• Organize capacity-building training sessions, community meetings, and other events.

• Monitor and report on volunteer and facilitator activities.


Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in community engagement or project activity support; emergency response experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in the local language(s); basic written English skills preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
