Title: Campaigns Coordinator

Terms of employment: Full-time, Independent Contractor (1year, renews annually)

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven campaign coordinator to join our India campaigns team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, food systems, and animal welfare. You will play a crucial role in introducing plant-based education to hospitality management and culinary institutes, while also collaborating with universities to introduce more sustainable food options.

Role Objective:

  1. Strategic Partnership Development
  2. Establish and grow institutional partnerships to integrate plant-based culinary education and plant-based options in cafeterias.
  3. Program Implementation & Scaling
  4. Drive adoption of the Vegan Culinary Advancement Program and Green Tuesday Initiative through presentations, events, and seamless execution.
  5. Industry Networking & Campaign Growth
  6. Cultivate relationships with plant-based experts and represent Vegan Outreach at events to amplify program reach..


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutions, hospitality schools, and universities by reaching out via LinkedIn, making cold calls, and sending emails.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers at the institutions to introduce our programs, the Vegan Culinary Advancement Program and the Green Tuesday Initiative.
  • Reach out and engage with new and existing hospitality institutional partners to modernize their curriculum with plant-based culinary modules.
  • Support the campaigns team in strengthening and scaling the Green Tuesday Initiative by building new partnerships with institutions to increase plant-based food options in dining services.
  • Deliver compelling pitches and presentations to institutions on adopting plant-based options in cafeterias and incorporating plant-based modules into their curriculum.
  • Reach out and network with plant-based industry experts like chefs, nutritionists, entrepreneurs, industry bodies, etc, to support campaign implementation.
  • Communicate campaign proposals, deliverables, and implementation plans to institutions, including timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutions to drive a sustained collaboration.
  • Coordinate webinars, workshops, and in-person engagement events to support the Vegan Culinary Advancement Program.
  • Attend networking events and conferences to represent Vegan Outreach and expand campaign visibility.

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in non-profit organisations.
  • Exceptional communication and verbal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for animal welfare, sustainability, plant-based initiatives, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Experience in campaigns and outreach-related work is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for workshops, meetings, and events.
