Job Description

Overview of the role and responsibility: To manage various aspects of the outreach, implementation of the go-t0-market plan and assistance in the creation of the brand of the School and its Founding Class

Specific responsibilities:

1. Marketing and outreach:

- Anchor specific parts of the go-t0-market and brand development plan aimed at creating the right brand perception about the School and attracting the most suitable candidates for the program

- Engage and build new relationships with colleges/institutions/promotional platforms and the media to promote the school and reach out to the maximum number of students

- Secure and lead interaction sessions/workshops with prospective students at colleges and other institutions

- Execute new brand building and outreach ideas that will drive the quality and number of applications

- Work with online, PR, external team members to organize and execute specific assignments 

2. Admissions

- Ensure that leads generated are converted into successful applications by working closely with members of admissions function

- Build relationships with students and their influencers and guide the admissions team as required

3. Others:

- Engage with external vendors and partners for development and production of marketing collaterals like brochures, ads, prospectus, website, online ads and so on, as required

- Stay abreast of the new developments and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of the outreach and admissions effort

Office Location: Hauz Khas, New Delhi 
Reporting to: Head of Marketing for the Schools

Compensation:

- Commensurate with experience and potential
- Range of 7-9 lacs pa

- The responsibilities will require frequent travelling within the country

Eligibility Criteria

1. Master’s degree inLiberal Arts/Social Sciences or allied disciplines like mass communications, or Business Management from a leading institution in India or abroad will be preferred 2. Prior experience in public policy or working at a leading academic institution will be preferred 3. One to two years of experience in marketing of education services for a leading academic institution will be an added advantage

1. Passion for the domain of education and developing new institutions

2. Strong writing and communicating skills

3. Ability to work in and manage the uncertainties inevitable in a start-up like environment

4. Interest in brand building and the education sector

5. Interest in brand building, education philosophy and design

6. Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learn

7. Respect for individual voices and ideas in a diverse environment

Specific technical skills preferred:

1. Organizing and executing projects efficiently with a strict adherence to timelines

2. Awareness and understanding of online platforms like Google Analytics, Hubspot, Leadsquared

After pioneering educational and outreach programs on a liberal approach to public policy for a diverse set of audience, in its 21st year of translating policy into practice, CCS proposes to launch a full-time, 12-18 months academic program in public policy in August 2019 as an independent School of Public Policy. The students who successfully complete this program shall be placed at think tanks, government departments, private corporations and research organizations
