Job Description

1. Documentation of all activities and programmes

2. Writing and editing proposals and helping in fund raising

3. Writing and editing project specific reports for donor organisations and the annual report of the organisation

4. Assist in managing and updating content on the organisation’s website and social media accounts

5. Collation and analysis of data and information at a regular interval to access the progress of the programmes


I) Strategic Planning

a) Provide timely inputs, analysis, data, information and reports to Nirman Foundation’s core team and ‘think tank’ for strategic planning and way forward based on information procured through documentation process

b) Compile high-quality reports of all Nirman Foundation’s initiative for Board approval and recommendations for the next year

II) Developing Partnership

a) Assist liaisoning with different levels of officers/ staff representing the stakeholders and partners of Nirman Foundation through regular high-quality reports and information sharing

b) Assist in organising meeting and orientation of stakeholders and partner institutions of Nirman Foundationon the organization's goals and mission, programme objectives and progress

III) Execution

a) Documentation

- Documentation of case studies/ training process/ short narratives/ reports/ events and programmes

- Compiling project-specific reports for donor organisation

- Compilation of Annual Report

- Assist in managing and updation the organisation’s website and face book page

b) Support in organisational strategic planning, implementation and evaluation

- Assist in developing the organisational strategic plan and way forward

- Support in programme planning and implementation based on critical analysis and feedback

- Conduct field visits at a regular interval to understand the need of the programmes

- Assist in developing monitoring indicators for understanding the progress of the programmes

- Assist in internal monitoring and evaluation of the programmes

- Assist in proposal writing and fund raising

c) Internal Reporting system

- Manage and develop the internal reporting system of the organisation

- Collate data and information from all programmes/ activities

- Compile/ document and analyse the data and information for strengthening programme outcomes

Remuneration: 3 lac p.a CTC

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduation - MA

1. MA in Social Sciences, preferably social work

2. Excellent writing skill in English 

3. Should know Bengali

4. Research Background would be a big plus

5. Open to all but Work Experience 1-2 years preferred
